NEDO geothermal power generation technology research and development business 2013-3 years of 2015 end
We have put 7 plans to execution for three years from 2013 to 2015.

2013 year:  We have the first convening committee to receive advice from outside experts at Narukoonsen, Janualy in 2014. We demonstrated the power generation by the small portable power generation system to utilize the hot water getting out of a hot spring at Naruko onsen. We have started to developping the heat exchange preparing corrosion and scale adhesion countermeasure. We finished desining and assembling the first steam power generation model. We started to test power generation produced by appling the superheat steam into the first moel.
2014 year:  We had the second convening committee to receive advice from outside experts at Sagamihara Incubation Center, July in 2014. We demonstrated the power generation, about 2 kW in the laboratory by applying the the superheat steam into the first steam power generation model. Considering the experiment result of the first steam generation model, we conducted the desining and the assembling of the second steam generation model.
We had the third convening committee to receive advice from outside experts at Obama onsen, Janualy in 2015. We succeeded demonstrating the power generation, about 400 W by the use of dylectly appling the superheat steam, originating from the source of spring located at Yunoka in Obama onnsen, into the second steam genartion model combined with the first steam-water separator model.
2015 year:  NEDO supervisor ordered to us to demonstrate the various methods to pump the hot spring to suppress the scale onset and the techinique development to maximize the power genartion amount. We had the forth convening committee to receive advice from outside experts at Obama onsen, July in 2015. The various scale adhisions were reported, depending on the method to pump the hot spring. We started to demonstarate the hyblid genetion system at Obama onsen, December in 2015. The hyblid genetion system composed of two parts. One was the small portable power generation system. The other was the second steam genartion model combined with the second steam-water separator model. We had the fifth convening committee to receive advice from outside experts at Obama onsen, Janualy in 2016. We demonstrated the power generation by the hyblid genetation system at Yunoka in Obama onsen.

7 plans to execution

① Development of the heat exchange preparing corrosion and scale adhesion countermeasure.
We demonstrated the power generation by the small portable power generation system to utilize the hot water getting out of a hot spring at Naruko onsen. We started to desining the new type of the heat exchange.

② First stage prototype of the steam power generation system making of the scroll type of the steam expander.
We manufactured the first steam power generation model, first steam-water separator model and first steam condesor.

③ Second stage prototype of the steam power generation system making of the scroll type of the steam expander.
We manufactured the second steam power generation model, second steam-water separator model and second steam condesor.

④ Development of hyblid generion system composed of the small portable power generation system and the steam genartion system combined with the steam-water separator.
We started to demonstarate the hyblid genetion system at Obama onsen, December in 2015. The hyblid genetion system composed of two parts. One was the small portable power generation system. The other was the second steam genartion model combined with the second steam-water separator model.

⑤ Convening the research and development progress report committee of this project.
Adavnce-riko, Inc. had convening the research and development progress report committee.
Mabuchi Engineering., Co.Ltd had convening committee to receive advice from outside experts.

⑥ Consideration due to developing business and market, and feedback to the power generation development.
As premise for utilizeing FIT, we conducted the feasibility analysys of the small power generation business from the calculation of the internal rate by substituting the each value of the front-end payment, maintainance payment, and power generation income as valuable numbers. On the basis of this analysys, we will forecast the market size of the small power generation business.

⑦ Various methods to pump the hot spring to suppress the scale onset and the techinique development to maximize the power genartion amount.
NEDO supervisor ordered to us to demonstrate the various methods to pump the hot spring to suppress the scale onset and the techinique development to maximize the power genartion amount.
